HACK+MAKE : Digital Microscope Workshop
The House Of Natural Fiber was started as Yogyakarta New Media Art Laboratory by a local community. They have implemented a methodology called Open-Community, the major concerns of which lie in the need for cross-collaborative actions responding to the development of technology and its practical use in daily life. Since 1999, they have concentrated on the principles of critique and innovation by thinking forward which has become the vision of HONF. By implementing such a vision in each program, HONF contributes to the development of art, science and technology for society.
