HYBRID SPHERE is final presentation an artist in collaboration three arts institutions, Komunitas Salihara (ID), Gyeonggi Creation Center (KR), and Arcolabs (ID) since from 2018. This program highlights our current way of life, where constant mobility, exchanges of ideas, and adoption of new technology become the norm rather than the exception. Using the open studio concept, we hope to showcase the artistic process and the importance of research.
HYBRID SPHERE and Artist in Residence aims to provide foreign artists with an opportunity to obtain their direct exploration of Indonesia, the country gaining the most attention by the world at the moment. On the other hand, this program also allows Indonesian artists and curators to expand their experiences and networks abroad.
